Optimism

Literacy Rate

"Hatred, intolerance, poor hygienic conditions and violence all have roots in illiteracy, so we're trying to do something to help the poor and the needy."
Abdul Qadeer Khan
Illiteracy is the root cause of disturbance in Pakistan. But to the hope, literacy rate from 37.40 of 1980 has risen to 53.90 of 2004. The situation is still going better because UNICEF announces it to be 54% in 2008.
Another optimism dawns when we see that, in 1947, Pakistan had only one university i.e University of The Punjab. Now, Pakistan boasts more than 132 universities inside her boundaries.
Hope is alive. Long live Pakistan. We are going on.
